Chris Nalchadjian, Esq. is the Founder and Lead Attorney of KN Law Firm, APLC, where he represents individuals facing serious criminal charges in California state and federal courts. Known for his meticulous preparation, calm courtroom presence, and genuine commitment to his clients, Chris approaches every case as if the outcome depends on the last detail — because it often does.
Background & Education
Chris earned his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from California State University, Northridge in 2014, where he was an active member of campus life — serving as Treasurer of the Pre-Pharmacy Club and participating in charitable fundraising programs. During his undergraduate years, he pursued an extensive course load in the health sciences with a Pre-Med emphasis, earned his pharmacy technician’s license, and volunteered in Dr. Oppenheimer’s Cancer Research Laboratory. That experience culminated in a co-authored publication in a peer-reviewed scientific journal — an early demonstration of the precision and intellectual rigor that defines his legal work today.
After graduating, Chris turned his focus toward his lifelong aspiration of a career in law. He enrolled at Whittier Law School in Costa Mesa, California, where he remained an active member of multiple bar associations throughout his studies. In 2018, he earned his Juris Doctorate with a concentration in Criminal Law — a foundation that would shape his entire practice.
Legal Career
Following his admission to the California State Bar in 2019, Chris gained experience across multiple prestigious Southern California law firms, developing expertise in pre-litigation procedure, civil litigation, and a wide range of criminal defense matters — from misdemeanors to complex felony cases. He founded KN Law Firm, APLC to bring that experience directly to clients who need it most.
Chris is admitted to practice in six jurisdictions, including the U.S. District Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court — a breadth of admission that allows him to represent clients at every level of the California and federal court systems.
What sets Chris apart is not just his credentials, but his philosophy. He believes that honest counsel, thorough preparation, and genuine respect for every client are not optional — they are the foundation of effective legal representation. He takes the time to understand the full picture of every case before developing a strategy, and he keeps his clients informed every step of the way.
